Wertime has spent the last 30 years living and working in Asia, holding various senior positions in Advertising and Marketing across cities like Hong Kong, Bangkok, Tokyo, and Singapore. His journey with Ogilvy began in 1999, leading the Interactive division and expanding it into the largest agency operation in Asia with offices in 12 markets. Wertime’s career advanced as he became President of OgilvyOne Asia in 2004 and later took on the role of President of Ogilvy & Mather Japan in 2009. In 2010, he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer, and eventually, he became co-CEO of Ogilvy & Mather Asia-Pacific in 2016.
Besides his corporate roles, Wertime is an accomplished writer with two books to his name, “Building Brands and Believers” and “DigiMarketing: The Essential Guide to New Media & Digital Marketing,” co-authored with Professor Ian Fenwick, Director of Sasin School of Management. He is also a sought-after speaker at industry conferences worldwide.
