Recently, Deputy Director Nick Pisalyaput, SasinSEC Lars Svensson, and Panichat Kitisittichai joined Claris EA, represented by Brandon and Chatri Srivichit to brainstorm an innovative ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) digital platform project.
The potential collaboration is driven by a shared vision of driving both sustainable and digital transformations. In addressing the initial problem statement of the similarities between ESG reporting and Corporate Performance Management challenges, this cooperative effort aims to align efforts in four key areas:
1. Developing an ESG Platform and Business Model
This area focuses on the development of an ESG platform and business model. The objective is to create a comprehensive solution that enables organizations to effectively realize their sustainability goals and meet ESG requirements. By leveraging innovative technologies and sustainable practices, the platform will provide organizations with the necessary tools and capabilities to track, measure, and report their ESG performance accurately.
2. Comprehensive End-to-End Offering
To streamline compliance processes, manage sustainability performance, and enhance sustainability plans, SasinSEC and Claris EA seek to provide a comprehensive, all-in solution. This offering will encompass various aspects of ESG reporting including data collection, analysis, reporting, and decision-making. By integrating these components into a seamless solution, organizations will be able to enhance sustainability practices and align them with their overall business strategies.
3. Lean Approach with Phased Milestones
The project will be executed using a lean approach consisting of five distinct phases. Each phase will have planned milestones and decision gates, enabling the project team to evaluate progress, gather feedback, and make informed decisions before proceeding to the next phase. This iterative approach ensures flexibility and adaptability, allowing the platform to evolve based on the changing needs and expectations of organizations and stakeholders.
4. Collaborative Effort with Clear Team Assignments
SasinSEC and Claris EA are both committed to fostering a collaborative environment throughout the project. Team assignments will ensure that individuals with the relevant expertise are assigned to specific tasks and responsibilities. By leveraging their collective knowledge and skills, the project hopes to create a high quality ESG platform that meets the diverse needs of a wide range of organizations. The collaborative effort will also facilitate effective communication, problem-solving, and knowledge-sharing among team members.
This cooperative effort will target creating an MVP prototype of the ESG digital platform by the end of 2023. This pilot will serve as an actual test of the platform’s capabilities and its potential to support organizations’ sustainable journeys. By solving the problems associated with ESG reporting through a comprehensive, lean, and collaborative approach, SasinSEC and Claris EA will be paving the way for corporations to achieve sustainability goals and meet the rising need for responsible and transparent business practices.
