Professor Stephen B. Young, Global Executive Director of the Caux Round Table and a vsiting faculty member at Sasin (right) received that gift from Anant Chuchote, Director-General, the Fine Arts Department, Ministry of Culture (left) on the occasion of the “International Conference The 5 decades of Ban Chiang’s Discovery” organized by the Fine Arts Department at Centara Hotel and Convention Center, Udon Thani . Professor Stephen B. Young was recognized for his discovery of the bronze-age site of Ban Chiang in northeastern Thailand. Activities at the Conference included addresses by archeologists as well as trips to Ban Chiang National Museum and Phu Phra Bat Historical Park.
