Sasin Executive MBA student to help Malika Interfood expand into new markets

Malika Interfood plans domestic and international expansion, to expand food catering business

Khun Chomploy Leeraphante, Operations & Supply Chain Manager, Malika Interfood, Co. Ltd, and a current Sasin Executive MBA student oversees the company’s food production process, from choosing the ingredients, quality control, stock control, employee training, and distribution.  The most visible brand of Malika Interfood is Yentafoe Kruengsonge by A. Malika, with 25 branches in Thailand and two in Laos.  The company plans to expand the brand both domestically and abroad, especially in ASEAN.  Khun Chomploy also said that all brands of the company will expand aggressively into the food catering business.  She is confident that if her restaurants maintain the high standard in taste, quality, and authenticity, her company can compete in the increasingly competitive restaurant and food markets.

Khun Chomploy further said that pursing an Executive MBA at Sasin complements her work as it can be applied to the management of her family business from general management, financial analysis, accounting, human resource management, and the overall vision of the company.   She notes that all of these areas are “essential to the growth of the company.”
