A four-day online training program, “The Training Program on Strategic Management across Cultures in the Post COVID-19 Era“, was held on December 9, 2021, with 35 non-Japanese executives and government officials from emerging markets participating. The program, designed by AOTS (a Japanese organization for human resource development in developing countries to promote technical cooperation through training, the dispatch of experts, and other programs), received financial support from the Japanese government as an ODA program.
Professor Takamasa Fujioka, Director of the Sasin Japan Center, led the four-day interactive program through discussions and presentations with the participants. He introduced a wide range of topics including strategy, marketing, management control, and doing business in emerging economies, all of which will be critical in the post-Covid era.
The next Japanese government-funded AOTS program will be held on Feb 17, 2022 for Indian executives from the manufacturing sector.
