On July 10, 2021, ReNew Innovations became the proud winner of the Real Tech Holdings Award of TECH PLANTER 2021 – worth SGD 2,500. The Real Tech Holdings Award was awarded to the team by Akitaka Wilhelm Fujii, President of Real Tech Holdings Co., Ltd., who believes ReNew is solving a dire, global problem that urgently needs to be addressed. His company plans to support ReNew’s strategic expansion into Asian markets, particularly Japan. TECH PLANTER is an acceleration and pitch competition focusing on deep tech. This program provides startups with mentoring, fundraising and market expansion opportunities in Asia, especially in Japan. ReNew Innovations comprises Kawisara Jongkolratanaporn, Pinnapa Phetcharatana, and Shotirose Poramesanaporn, all Sasin MBA 2019. The team was the winner of the Sustainability Round of the New Venture Championship, organized by the University of Oregon’s Lundquist Center for Entrepreneurship, and was the First Runner-up Award of the SCG Bangkok Business Challenge @ Sasin 2020. Three of the nine finalists of this competition; Algeba, Rehab Happy Walk, ReNew Innovations; also participated in the SPRINT Accelerator at Sasin. Congratulations to ReNew Innovations!
