Sasin MBA student, Phatthranit Noppisanvong , Marketing Assistant at Sino Garment Co. Ltd., recently talked about her family business, which makes clothing products for various brands. She said that domestic brands make up about 70% and international brands 30% of their orders. Most of Sino Garment’s international customers are from Egypt and Eastern Europe, where quality is emphasized.
“We are very particular about our quality, and delivering on time,” she said. “I have also worked with my brother to expand our business by creating a new line of clothing called Doku, which is a men’s clothing line with a Japanese style, targeted to the upper market segment,” said Phatthranit. She thinks that so far, the response has been good because of its classical style, good quality, appeal to all ages. The siblings also have another brand geared towards teenagers and university students called Peacehunter, which is a street clothing line. They plan to expand both brands domestically and internationally.
“We plan to have stores in major cities in Thailand so that people experience the clothes first hand,” said Phatthranit “We also go to exhibitions in Malaysia, Singapore, and Myanmar to expand our presence abroad.”In the past, they emphasized online sales and this year, they project that their domestic market will increase by 30% and 15% internationally. “We do what we love.Our determination, excellence in design and quality will carry us through, ”added Phatthranit.
