From January 8th-11th, a Sasin MBA student team from the Class of 2019 competed at the 7th edition of the Global Family Enterprise Case Competition (FECC) hosted by the University of Vermont. After four days of fierce competition, the team came in 1st place in their division and finished the competition as an overall finalist. Members of the team showed grit, determination, and agility, and they were recognized by the judges for their insightful analysis of family business issues. They have indeed set high standards for future years.
The Sasin team comprises Pinnapa Phetcharatana (MBA 2019), Christopher Ho (Part-Time MBA 2019), and Panuwat Thongrompo (EMBA 2019). Established in 2013, the University of Vermont’s FECC is the only case competition in the world focused on family businesses. Since 2013, FECC has welcomed: 431 competitors, 368 judges, 240 student organizers, and 43 universities from 29 countries around the world. FECC 2020 consisted of 54 competitors in 18 teams, from 17 world-class universities in 11 countries.
Congratulations to the team for their hard work and success and for being outstanding ambassadors for Sasin!
