Sasin Japan Center (SJC) recently co-organized a business webinar with AOTS (The Association for Overseas Technical Cooperation and Sustainable Partnerships) for over 150 executives from 15 countries. The webinar was subsidized by the Japanese government.
Professor Takamasa Fujioka, Director of SJC, gave a talk, “Shaping the Future through Business Transformation in the Post COVID-19 Era”, to help participants understand the framework for envisioning strategic business development in the post-COVID-19 era. Specifically, he discussed ways to develop the ability to envision the future from a global perspective by positioning the present in history and understanding the impact of digital transformation on corporate management.
AOTS, in collaboration with Sasin Japan Center, will provide four sessions on Strategic Management across Cultures in the Post COVID-19 Era in November and December 2021. They also plan to launch another webinar in February 2022 on digital transformation for the manufacturing industry in India.
AOTS was established in 1959 under the initiative of the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry of Japan, to encourage human resource development in developing countries and to promote technical cooperation through training, expert dispatches, and other programs.
