MR Squared, from the Indian Institute of Management-Kozhikode, was the winner of The SCB Future Leader Challenge (SCBFLC) 2020 competition. The virtual competition took place two years ago, but because of the pandemic, the award ceremony was postponed until this year and recently held on September 3 at Siam Commercial Bank Talad Noi Branch in Bangkok. MR Squared won the King’s Award, which was presented by Mrs. Patraporn Sirodom, Senior Executive Vice President, Chief People Officer of Siam Commercial Bank, and Professor Ian Fenwick, Director of Sasin School of Management. SCBFLC is the first digital business case competition for master’s degree students, co-hosted by Sasin School of Management and Siam Commercial Bank. The competition has brought together innovative students from across the world. The three other finalists in the 2020 competition included the teams, Invisible Gorilla from Thammasat University, Promptpay from the University of Cambridge, and Transformation from Zhejiang University.
