SCG Bangkok Business Challenge @ Sasin 2020 Asia’s Longest-Running Global Student Startup Competition May 2 and May 9-16, 2020 (Private Online Event) Established in 2002, SCG Bangkok Business Challenge @ Sasin is Asia’s longest-running global student startup competition. Student startups compete for The Royal Trophies and cash prizes of over US$60,000. SCG Bangkok Business Challenge @ Sasin 2020 received entry applications from 208 student teams representing 83 institutions from 24 countries across 6 continents. This is a threefold increase from the 2019 competition.

On January 5, 2020, the BBC’s panel of distinguished first-round judges announced the 19 semi-finalists and the 6 Thailand Track finalist teams that will be invited to the competition online during May 2 and May 9-16, 2020. They include teams from Canada, China, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, the United Kingdom, and the United States, among others.
