Sasin is happy to welcome Lars Svensson, the new Chief Executive of the Sasin Sustainability & Entrepreneurship Center (SEC). A native of Sweden, Lars has lived and worked in Southeast Asia for more than 30 years. He has had various senior leadership roles at IKEA, including serving as Sustainability & Communication Director, IKEA Southeast Asia & Mexico, and as well as Global Head of Sustainability for the Ikano Group, IKEA Southeast Asia & Mexico’s parent company. He has also worked for companies such as Oriflame, Novena Holdings, Global Events Online and Japro Energy during his career. Lars has an MBA (Organizational Theory and International Business) from the Stockholm School of Economics. He is also the Founding Managing Partner of Wallander & Sson, a boutique impact management consulting agency and impact technology solution provider in Bangkok. Sustainability and entrepreneurship are at the heart of what we do and how we do it at Sasin, and the SEC is one of the key drivers of innovation and thought leadership at Sasin. Lars brings his deep experience in sustainability, entrepreneurship, and his extensive knowledge and experience in the region to lead our SEC team. Welcome Lars!
