Sasin School of Management, the competition host, is proud to announce the winners of the Business Triathlon 2020 by Sasin, an action-learning competition for bachelor’s degree students. The competition offers a unique learning experience to students by challenging them with real management issues from sponsored companies, namely Charoen Pokphand Foods, Singha Corporation and Tesco Lotus. After an intense month-long journey, which was disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, the final-round was live streamed on April 24, 2020, with students pitching their innovative ideas to solve corporate digital challenges to our panel of judges. Our distinguished judges from CPF included Chaiyuth Tipsuwanporn (Senior Vice President – Retail Business), Pote Sakunthavorn (Vice President – Commercial) and Kris Kongthanadarakorn (Vice President – Talent Attraction and Acquisition). From Singha Corporation, we welcomed Cholawit Sukudom (Managing Director Group of Knowledge and Development, Boonrawd Brewery), Paisan Chitrekarn (Managing Director, EST. Company), and Vorapat Chavananikul (Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Boonrawd Trading), as well as other executives from Tesco Lotus. The grand prize winners for each company race are the following: Team Strikers from the Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University (CPF race); Team Prestige Co. from the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Thammasat University (Singha Corp race); and Team Benthree from the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn University (Tesco Lotus race). In addition to the grand prize winners, the 1st Runner-up and 2nd Runner-up teams included Team Extrema from Thammasat University and Team CAPE from Thammasat University (CPF race), Team Dumpling Consulting from Chulalongkorn University and Team No Brand from Thammasat University (Singha Corp race), and Team Marmalade from Chulalongkorn University and Team Acestasy from Chulalongkorn University (Tesco Lotus race).
