In the wake of Friday’s earthquake, I sincerely hope that you and your family are safe. In this hour of crisis, we need to reflect on those who have been more significantly affected, and help as we can.
I would like to thank everyone for their cooperation in making the building evacuation at Sasin School of Management so smooth and effective, especially the marshals who worked so well to keep all safe, our security team, seminar participants who accepted this interruption to their classes, the maids who made sure that all went well, and all who went out of their way to help others during the event.
The Sasa Patasala building has successfully passed its preliminary visual inspection and has been declared safe. Further testing of the building will continue over the next few days. Please remain alert for any potential issues over the next few days. Thank you for your patience and resilience.
