As part of the mission of the Neurodiversity at Work Research Centre (NWRC), Steps collaborated with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) to conduct Thailand’s largest focus group for employees with disabilities and neurodivergent individuals.
This focus group involved 102 employed individuals, including people with disabilities and neurodivergent individuals, from 50 of BMA’s district offices. Held at Sasin on August 14, the event aimed to better understand and improve working conditions, thereby increasing access to meaningful employment opportunities. Steps also trained volunteers, including Sasin students and staff, to safely facilitate the movement of interviewees around the building.
NWRC and Steps will continue to work with BMA to implement the 3 Good Project and develop custom tools to enhance inclusion for all BMA employees.
