On July 4, 2025, Sasin School of Management, in collaboration with Sasin Management Consulting (SMC), hosted a Strategic Initiatives Development Workshop for the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) at Novotel Bangkok, Siam Square. The workshop featured Sasin’s Associate Professor Krittinee Nuttavuthisit, Ph.D., who led a session on the principles of effective initiative design and development. She provided frameworks to help participants articulate initiatives that are both strategic and actionable. A best-practice case study from the acclaimed Restart Academy—an initiative by the Thailand Institute of Justice (TIJ)—was presented by project manager Phoemporn Maneesin, offering inspiration for initiative-driven transformation. In a subsequent session, Grasic Smitasiri (Consultant) and Pongporn Jumruswittayawong (Senior Analyst), along with the SMC team, shared insights on scoring criteria and evaluation methods. Their session equipped participants with tools and structured approaches to prioritize initiatives—from quick wins to game-changing opportunities. This collaboration aimed to strengthen TCEB’s capability to develop strategic, future-ready initiatives aligned with global trends and the organization’s long-term goals. Participants refined current projects and designed new ones to foster collective impact across the MICE ecosystem. The workshop reflects Sasin’s continued commitment to public sector transformation through strategic education and evidence-based consulting—driving innovation and long-term value creation.
