Net Impact Bangkok Professional Chapter, based at Sasin School of Management, has achieved Gold Status, recognizing it as one of the finest Chapters in Net Impact’s entire 300+Chapter community.
According to Net Impact, Gold Status recognizes Chapters that go above and beyond in providing their members with opportunities to make an impact in their community, learn and grow as individuals, and engage with the larger Net Impact community.
Net Impact is a global community of leaders who aspire to be effective drivers of economic, social, and environmental change. The Net Impact Bangkok Professional Chapter, established in 2004, moved its permanent home to Sasin in 2007. It has a wide and growing network of professionals and students who network at regular events such as luncheon meetings featuring world-class speakers, site visits, and film screenings.
With over 130,000 members in 400 chapters worldwide, Net Impact equips its network to build a more just and sustainable world by engaging with social and environmental challenges to accelerate innovation and orient business toward the greater good.
Earlier in May, Sasin-based Net Impact Bangkok Professional Chapter was also selected Chapter of the Year 2021-2022 in the International Professional category. The chapter demonstrated its commitment to drive sustainable change by creating a Social Progress Index for Thailand. The Index measures the health, safety, shelter, education, rights, and personal freedom of the Thai people and is designed to be used by academics and public and civic society stakeholders to inform policy decisions.
