Sasin Associate Professor Dr. Piyachart Phiromswad was one of the speakers for the TED flagship conference, TED23, on April 17-21 in Vancouver, Canada. In Session 3 of TED2023: Possibility, Dr. Piyachart delivered a thought-provoking talk about understanding and improving our relationship with aging. Click here to watch his talk The focus of his talk was on exploring technological advancements that can assist seniors in overcoming the physical, mental, and societal challenges that hinder their employability. By utilizing these tools, the senior population can remain active and engaged while simultaneously reducing the financial burden on pension and aid programs. This could also help increase economic output and challenge the false assumption that older individuals cannot be productive members of society.
