Dean Outerson, Sasin’s Project Head of Marketing and Communications, recently traveled to Mumbai, India, for the GMAC Asia Pacific Conference 2018. More than 75 representatives from business schools across the Asia Pacific region attended the annual event to learn more about new initiatives and best practices in management education. The conference was held at NMIMS University, an internationally-accredited school in the heart of Mumbai.
On the first day of the conference, Mr. Outerson moderated a panel discussion on Entrepreneurship and Innovation, which highlighted the initiatives and programs created by business schools across the Asia Pacific region that not only support the growth of entrepreneurial thinking in academia but activate and sustain a culture of innovation and disruption enabling entrepreneurs to succeed.
The panelists included Jochen Schweitzer, Ph.D., Associate Professor & Director Entrepreneurship, UTS Business School, University of Technology, Sydney, Australia, and Doris Duoduo Xun, Director, Global Collaboration and Admissions of MBA Programs, School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China.
