After months of virtual competition, Nathasorn Boontanorm, SMC’s Project Director and the co-founder of SCB Future Leader Challenge (SCBFLC), together with Patraporn Sirodom, Senior Executive VP and Chief People Officer of Siam Commercial Bank are proud to announce the grand prize winner of 2020. Co-hosted by Sasin School of Management and Siam Commercial Bank, SCB Future Leader Challenge (SCBFLC) is the first digital business case competition for Master’s Degree students. The competition has brought together innovative enthusiasts from across the globe for the past 6 years. This year the competition has achieved another record year, with over 130 teams, from 46 universities and 15 countries participated in the first-round competition. During August 4-8, 2020, the selected teams were challenged with a digital banking case, and then they had to showcase their innovative ideas and solutions to our distinguished panel of judges. Team MR Squared from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, has won the grand prize of THB 100,000 and H.M. The King of Thailand Royal Award. While the three finalist teams are Invisible Gorilla from Thammasat University, Promptpay from University of Cambridge, and Transformation from Zhejiang University.
