The US-China Competition and Conflict: Implications for Business and National Economies

A dynamic panel discussion on “The US-China Competition and Conflict: Implications for Business and National Economies” was held on February 14 at Sasin School of Management, co-organized by the US-ASEAN Business Council, BowerGroupAsia, and Sasin. The discussion provided the distinguished audience of diplomats, academics, business leaders, students, and Sasin alumni, with deep insights and some well-considered ideas about US-China relations going forward. The event included leading experts in the field, including Murray Hiebert, Senior Associate of the Southeast Asia Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies from Washington D.C, and Haiying Yuan, Founder & President of Yuan Associates, who flew in from Beijing. The panel also featured Professor Steven White, Sasin Faculty Member & Affiliate Professor of Tsinghua University, and Professor Thitinan Pongsudhirak, Senior Fellow of The Institute of Security and International Studies at Faculty of Political Science, Chulalongkorn University, who both offered academic perspectives on this important topic.
