Dan LeClair, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of AACSB International, recently visited Sasin and Chulalongkorn University to discuss accreditation and recent trends in management education. He was welcomed by Professor Dipak C. Jain, Director of Sasin, Associate Professor Pasu Decharin, Dean of Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Professor Kua Wongboonsin, Sasin’s Deputy Director for Administrative Affairs, as well as members of Sasin’s faculty and senior staff.
Established in the United States in 1916, AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) is a global, nonprofit membership organization devoted to the advancement of management education, and is the world’s oldest business school accreditation body. Earlier this year, Sasin received a five-year extension of its AACSB accreditation, having become the first business school in Thailand to earn AACSB accreditation in 2010. Chula Business School received accreditation in 2015.
