On November 11, 2019, Sasin School of Management, the Embassy of Japan, Gistda, and C-Asean co-organized a symposium, Women in Limitless “Space”, at Sasin School of Management. Professor Ian Fenwick, Director of Sasin School of Management, gave the opening speech. Dr. Chiaki Mukai, the first female Japanese astronaut, gave the keynote address and spoke about her dreams and her experience in space, and her ongoing mission to encourage and empower younger generations to show them there is no limit of what women can do. A panel discussion, “Nurturing Women Leaders of Next Generation” then followed and focused on duty, and discipline to oneself and society in today’s digital and sustainable world. The symposium concluded with young women innovators sharing their presentations.
