Instructors
Professor Karl Schmedders Professor of Finance, International Institute for Management Development (IMD) Professor Karl Schmedders specializes in the economics of climate change, finance, and data analytics applications. His research and teaching integrate rigorous analytical approaches with practical solutions for business leaders. Before joining IMD in 2019, he was Professor of Quantitative Business Administration at the University of Zurich and Associate Professor of Managerial Economics and Decision Sciences at the Kellogg School of Management. He remains a Visiting Professor in Executive MBA Education at Kellogg and currently serves as President of the Board at a Swiss-based specialist research and advisory firm. His work has been featured in leading academic journals and practitioner outlets, including Harvard Business Review (hbr.org) and MIT Sloan Management Review.
Pinnaree Tea-makorn, Ph.D. AI Strategist and Faculty, Sasin School of Management Pinnaree Tea-makorn, Ph.D., specializes in computational psychology, artificial intelligence, and data science. She teaches AI & Business across Sasin’s MBA, Executive MBA, executive education, and corporate programs. Beyond academia, she serves as the Artificial Intelligence Venture Partner at Vectors Capital and Research Director at Inter Data Recovery Co., Ltd. She has also contributed her expertise as a technical consultant to startups in Silicon Valley and Thailand, including Qualcomm, Urban Engines, Ajaib, and Edsy. She earned her Ph.D., M.S., and B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. She is a recipient of the prestigious King’s Scholarship and was awarded a gold medal at the International Chemistry Olympiad.

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) – A professional CV outlining education and work experience
  • Work Experience (minimum 1 year) – In any industry or function, preferably with exposure to marketing, customer engagement, or innovation
  • Interview Assessment – A brief interview to assess program fit and learning readiness
