MBA

Daytime or Evening options. Choose your pace.

Sasin welcomes applications from graduates in all fields who are interested in pursuing an MBA degree. If you hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a Thai university or from an international institution of recognized standing, you are eligible for consideration.

Prior study in business or economics is not a requirement for admission! In fact, most Sasin students come from non-business degree backgrounds. Their undergraduate majors include graduates from engineering, science, technology, social sciences, and the humanities. Although coursework in calculus is not required, a solid foundation in quantitative skills is expected.

Sasin looks for students with outstanding potential for leadership as well as the intellectual and interpersonal skills needed to make a meaningful contribution to the academic and extra-curricular life of Sasin. We strive to form a dynamic and diverse student body, representing many countries, cultures, personalities, backgrounds, and career aspirations. We will evaluate your:
  • scholastic ability for graduate study,
  • your transcripts from your previous educational endeavors,
  • qualities of character and motivation,
  • evidence of leadership,
  • societal concern and involvement,
  • management promise,
  • the quality of your application essays,
  • your letter of recommendation,
  • and your GMAT or GRE, and where appropriate, TOEFL, IELTS, or CU-TEP scores.
We will review all aspects of your application to assess you compared to our overall pool of applicants. Admission is not driven by any single measure, but rather by your overall combination of activities and achievements. We will attempt to evaluate your potential for a management career through a careful review of your experience and accomplishments in academic and full-and-part time work settings, including your extracurricular activities.

We highly value post-degree full-time professional experience. We’ve found that applicants with full-time work experience tend to have greater maturity and self-awareness. These qualities contribute significantly to future success. On average, Sasin MBA students have three years of meaningful work experience and demonstrate clear management potential. However, we do not preclude applications from exceptional younger applicants with little full-time work experience, provided they can demonstrate maturity and an ability to contribute to the class learning experience. However, at least one year of post-degree, full-time work experience is required.

Interviews are required for admission to the Sasin MBA Program. Interviews are normally conducted with representatives of Sasin faculty, administrators, and alumni. We have found that interviews provide essential insights into applicants’ abilities and motivation to complete the MBA program. Interviews also provide you with an opportunity to discuss the Sasin MBA program and raise questions of concern. Interviews, whether on campus or online, will be arranged and conducted only after the online application has been submitted to the Admissions Office.

Your application can be completed most conveniently online. This is the best way to apply. As you work on your application, be sure to save frequently. You can come back as often as you like to add materials: until you hit the final submit. Be sure to complete as many of the questions on the application as possible:
  • you must complete those that have a red star. You will not be able to submit your application without these.
  • remember the more you tell us about your education, experiences, and interests, the better we can evaluate your suitability for our program,
  • and the more likely you are to be accepted.
If you have any questions, please contact our Admissions team, at [email protected].

The Sasin Honor Code is designed to promote these qualities so that each student can fully develop his or her individual potential. The Honor Code is administered by students, based on the concept of self-governance. Upon admission, each student makes an agreement to abide by The Sasin Honor Code. Students who violate the Sasin Honor Code violate this agreement and must accept the sanction imposed by the Sasin community. All Sasin students are also expected to adhere to all policies and requirements of Chulalongkorn University and to abide by all applicable by-laws and regulations.
